Just thought i'd start this, as I don't see a post here.

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

I have spin today.

B: Protein coffee

S: Say Cheese diet cheesecake

L: turkey meatballs and rapini

S: probably a protein bar....getting ma hurrrr did later

D: unsure, going out. Yay!

What's in your protein coffee? I haven't had surgery yet, but I'm collecting post-op ideas! :-)

Good morning! Off work today and looking forward to trying to increase my steps at the grocery store.  Busy weekend ahead with my daughter's first concert. Taylor Swift! Front row center!  Woo hoo! Sleepovers, pool parties etc. To be 14 again! And of course father's day...

Todays menu:

B:Protein coffee

S:Cottage cheese and berries

L:  pulled chicken

S: ricotta, apple sauce, cinnamon, splenda, protein powder

D:turkey and veg

S: jus****er with crystal light

MFP Cal 795 Carb 63 Fat 16 Protein 98

Sounds like a great family weekend Prairiegirl. Biked to worked this morning and will bike home later. So upped my calories.

b. greek yogurt, granola, raspberries

s. hummus, carrots, aby bel

l. chili

s. coffee protein drink with milk, yogurt

d. chicken, broccoli, salad

s. red wine

Ahhh - the good old days of getting exited about landmark concerts!

We all remember the days when a good concert could change your life ... have fun!

 B - oatmeal w 1/2 banana, large coffee

 S - Greek joghurt w SF applesauce and muesli

 L - homemade chicken cacciatore

 S - protein bar, second coffee

 D - sushi, out with friends

RNY, 7.5 months post-op

Good morning, everyone!

Thanks for starting this, Kelly - Barb's up North for the next few days so won't be able to start it.

I started today off with my first straight 45 minute run!  I have been building up to it all week with intervals, but was nervous about running it straight.  It wasn't the fastest run, but I got it done!  Now I'm doing 1/2 day of work and then my husband and I are off to Buffalo for a kids-free shopping weekend!  So excited - it's our anniversary tomorrow so my Mom offered to keep the kids. 

Here's part of my eating plan for the day (dinner will be out so not included in totals):

B - 3/8 cup greek yogurt, 1 tbsp. Skinny B cereal, 1/2 cup blackberies/blueberries, SF syrup.

S - 1 pure protein bar

L - 4 ham/turkey roll ups (with mustard and 2 laughing cow light wedges), 1 cup spinach salad (with cucumbers, tomatoes, 1 tbsp hemp hearts, and 1 tbsp. balsalmic vinagrette).

S - 1 babybell gouda cheese, 1 SF pudding with 1 tbsp peanut butter

D - Not sure yet - think we're going to an Italian restaurant so it'll be their beef or fish dish with veggies.

S - Likely will not need one after dinner out!

Totals (ex. Dinner) - 783 calories, 57g carbs, 37g fat, 62g protein

This leaves me with about 400-500 calories for dinner which is great! 

I won't be posting the rest of the weekend as it's too hard to do on my phone - I will keep tracking using my Sparkpeople app, though.
