That is GREAT news!!! I will be at the office on June 12th as well for the SW and RD. I had a question ... what is the pre-surgical class? When are we told to go to this?

I was with Dr Hagen as well, never did a pre op class. Do you mean your PATTS? Not pre op class? Some centres do them but not HRRH. You won't get your surgery date til after all your appts with the dietician, nurse, social worker then with Dr Glazer and it looks like you have seen all these except Dr Glazer? He is your last step, he will say yup, call Dr Hagen to book your appointment with him, he will go over the surgery and explain risks, get you to sign your consent for surgery forms, and then back out to see Ella to buy your optifast and she will then book your surgery date.
It can move along for sure, but calling helps no doubt about it. See if you can call Dr Glazers office to book with him, call and say you have an appointment with Dr Hagen that day and all your other appts are done and you just need to see Dr Glazer now, can't hurt to call to see if your lucky maybe you can go see him right after Dr Hagen that day?

Through Kingston we have a pre-op class and I don't believe he will need to see Glazier either - Dr Hagen will ok his surgery - the process through Kingston is a little different - We only go to Toronto for meet the surgeon and surgery - everything else is done in Kingston

Good for you Armyguy1976. I remember well the day I received the telephone call for my surgeon appointment. It is total validation that this is real. Best wishes and big hugs on your journey to healthy! I had my surgery Sept. 4/12, down 100 lbs and life is wonderful....amazing in fact. It is finally your turn and I personally wish you best health and happiness
First off thats for all the great replies, really is a "community" here on these forums.
As An Marie said I'm going thru Kingston so my only involvement with HRRH is meet with the surgeon and then my actual surgery I've confirmed with the HRRH staff I do not need to see Dr Glazer as i've already been approved by the staff in Kingston. My pre op class is something Kingston requires and i'm having it on the 26th June here in Kingston.
Were posted(I'm Military) to Barrie Ontario on July 31 13 so i requested to have my surgery thru HR , other wise i would have went thru Ottawa. Fingers crossed it won't be to much longer now.
