A tall is only 100 calories and all the calories come from the skim milk.  0 fat, 14 carbs and 9 protein.  It has sugars but all dairy products do so it's not added sugar.  I used to drink one every afternoon as my snack as it fills me up.  If you can afford the 100 calories in your day then it's not a bad choice.

I used to have them often too, but found I was drinking my calories too much. Now I stick to once a week, since I do my protein coffee.

I've asked for a scoop of protein in my tall skinny vanilla latte. Just make sure they know to steam the protein in with the milk, or its chunky.

THANK YOU EVERYONE for you replies, advice, suggestions and imput.
I must say I dont feel.so bad about enjoying this treat now. As much as Id like to have one everyday. I will limit it to once or twice a week.
I will also try some of the other suggestions which were made.
This is victory in my books as this is a ' positive safe sweet indulgence' to me.

Decaf, sugar free and protein from the milk. This is not a bad choice at all.

I do the Cafe Americano decaf and iced and add a little bit of milk and sometimes some sugar free syrup or sweetener...I also do the skinny decaf lattes when I want a treat but I'm concerned about drinking my calories as well.

Just a tip, you can ask them to steam protein into the cappuccino or latte which adds around 8 g of protein per scoop so it really helps if you're trying to increase your protein intake.

actually protein comes at an extra cost, just so everyone is aware and it's closer to 16-20 grams per scoop.   The one I drink is 16 grams.

The reason I know that is I have been having a scoop of protein in my morning coffee at least 3 days of the week for the past 2 years.

Mary there is only 6 grams of protein per scoop according to their website. Are you perhaps counting the total protein from the milk in the latte and the added protein? Scroll down to add-ons and you'll see the protein scoop.

Yes Tracey you are probably right...it's been such a long time since I began drinking it in my morning coffee...all I know is that it is 15 or 16 grams of protein...I guess I didn't specifically think of whether that comes from protein whey or other ingredients.

Not sure if Canadian Starbucks uses the same protein as the American site which you listed..but that is just splitting hairs.

It was the Canadian nut info page that brought me there. 1 to 2 is not going to make much difference for the whole day. Lol
