Signed up for my first 1/2 Marathon!!

You will do it. Just make sure you fuel doing the race and take  water with you.  When you cross the finish line just be proud of yourself and take it all in. Which race are you doing. I am doing one the long weekend. The price was right 15 dollars which is very cheep for a race.

$15!! That price IS right! I needed to wait to make sure I could physically run it or not, since my panini surgery in January. But yep, seems i can.

The Toronto Women's marathon is in May 26th.

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

You will have a blast.  I've walked the Detroit half for four consecutive years.  It's such a blast and I really enjoy the experience.   You'll Kick butt lady!   When is the date!?

Wtg! The fastest and farthest I can run is to the bathroom after taking my water pills, lol. I hope after my wls I can start to run too! enlightened
