Funny NSV - Post Panni surgery
Because it's Monday, and my first real day with out my binder
So washing my hands...getting the soap on...realizing the lip of the sink doesn't hit my panni....it hits my..er..pubic bone now LOL
Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
It wasn't even something I noticed before. That I had padding there all the time. Well, of course I noticed, but it had been there forever.
Getting better every day!

I do think i'll be wearing a bikini on vacation next month!! In clothes, I think I look about the same...extra skin, without fat underneath, is very squishy. It's nice to have it gone. The past few days was a big difference in the swelling too :-)

That's a great NSV! I'm finding that my panni is already driving me nuts, and I'm not even near goal yet.

I always thought I would have panni issues, but thought I would need a full fleur de lis, but nope, only panni needed. It's amazing how your body changes at and after goal. That's why they say to wait until you are at a stable weight for awhile (six month to a year). My panni issue just got worse. After having two babies (and Hannah was huge for me ...8 pounds on this 5 foot 1.5 chickie), that my damaged panni wouldn't have ever changed.
My arms surprised me recently with more extra skin showing up :-(
