I hope the prunes help, Verity!  I mixed baby prunes into some of my food for awhile, and although the sugar and carbs are high, it really seemed to help.

I can't do prunes, but yes they really do hike up carbs....but let's remember that they are good carbs!!

Good morning all. Great day for a run Kelly. Hope you make it okay. Having trouble getting going this morning but will go out in awhile for a long walk with the dog. It was funny, Jewel Twin asked about tikka marsala yesterday and I arrived at my sons to find he had made curry. Go lean cereal is my new favorite. It has really got the bowels moving.

b. yogurt, blueberries go lean

s. baby bel

s. tuna, mayo, melba toast

s. protein bar on the run

d. not sure need to check the freezer.

Have a great day everyone

It was a fairly good run. Did 6k, and took 44 minutes, which is super-slow for me...but i'm back out there!! And taking it easy!

Can you eat Go Lean cereal with milk? I can't do cereal with milk without dumping. Good thing too, that's a slippery slope for me!

Glads your run went well. Just back from my walk and it is fantastic out there. I use cereal with greek yogurt as a topping. The Go Lean is really crunchy but boy does it help. I am back to going every day instead of every 3 or 4. I was making my own granola with a lot of bran but this works even better.

Good luck on your run, Kelly!  I hope it goes really well.

I'm off to the track today for my 3rd day of Week 6 5K training.  I have to run for 25 minutes straight - eek!  I'm sure I"ll do it, but it will be slow going LOL.

Here's my eating plan for today:

B - 3/8 cup greek yogurt, 1/8 cup all bran buds, 1/4 cup blackberries and blueberries, SF syrup

S - Premier protein shake after the track, 1/2 pure protein bar later on

L - 100 g back bacon, 1/2 cup spinach salad (with cucumber, tomato and balsalmic dressing)

S - Babybell light cheese

D - Will be at my mother-in-laws for dinner.  I expect she'll serve a meat dish (usually chicken with some sauce) and I'll have some veggies (peas/carrots) too.

S - 1 cup SF chocolate pudding, 1 tbsp. peanut butter

Totals - 973 calories, 68g carbs, 35g fat, 105g protein

Have a great day!
