it is somebody who will inform the group on how you are doing - but more so be there for you when you have questions etc. It is a way of mental support heart

Most often people will ask somebody - or offer it to somebody who is also going to the same hospital ( since the policies are slightly different from hospital to hospital) - and try to have the same surgeon. (the same team is ok ). But also same type of surgery. (so the angel knows better what it is all about)

I did put my name down for somebody who is going to HRRH. I had Dr. Hagen. (or anybody from his team)

I see you're almost at your goal. It must feel so good. I will keep in touch.

It feels wonderful - and so strange at the same time as well when you are "almost" at your goal. (for me anyway). I only have 9 more kg to go. I'm just taking ti one day at the time - stay with the program and the weight is "falling off"

People really notice it and are making wonderful comments - but the most important thing is that I don't have to take 3 meds now and that I feel so much healthier.  I can walk for 4-5 times the distance I did pre-op (without pain and without being "out of breath").

Just wonderful

broken heart

I don't regret it for a moment.

Well right now my lower back is killing me and I have chronic tendonitis in my left achilles heel and I work in a nursing home!  I come home every night and ice my heel and heat my back! I gave up on the meds already because they don't work anyway! lol Sometimes I need a "puffer" to breathe and I never needed that before, so I intend to do this "by the book" and will always keep in touch with my friends on this website! Must get ready for work now! Work 3 - 11 today! Thanks for sharing.
