Can we take it ?

I am going up in our work helicopter (hopefully Thursday night) and last time I was up I got a little dizzy/air sick.  Wondering if I can take 1/2 gravol before and it will be ok ?

Also, Tylenol products ?  Can we take them with added things like the Cold version ?  Flu version ?

Thanks !

Amy

Yes to the gravol, not sure about the Tylenol products.

Gravol is fine.  I would be more likely to take tylenol extra strength and a benedryl rather than the tylenol cold or flu.  The only thing they offer is some cough suppressant and that can probably be accomplished by the bendryl and a nasal rinse.  Just my opinion.  I don't like OTC meds with more than two drugs in them.  Mostly their ****tails are not going to address specifically  what you need when you have either a cold or the flu.  Its like taking a shotgun to kill a deer, might work but unnecessarily  messy!

Gravol is fine to take post op and so are the Tylenol line of products.

Yes you can take Gravol and Tylenol Cold.  I was sick a couple of weeks ago and called my centre to ask.  Both are fine.

My pharmacy recommended the chewable gravol and they work like a charm. He said regular gravol cannot be crushed.

I called Dr Hagens office yesterday and he called me back late last night to say defiantly Tylenol cold is acceptable to take. He said two weeks post op I should be able to cut the tablet in half and swallow it. He also recommended putting Vicks on my neck and chest as well.
Hope you feel better soon
