Time to connect people with an Angel

I have the link for the Surgery List in my signature and I update it every few days with anyone new... But people are expressing an interest in having an Angel.

An Angel is someone who in on the board and can post when you are through surgery, etc. Someone to chat to about things... usually someone who has already had surgery but that is not required if you connect with someone on the journey with you.

We have many times had people who've had the same date, and even the same surgeon lately but it is still nice to have someone to reach out and connect with when you are in the process leading up to surgery, and it is especially nice to have someone posting one is "ok" after coming out of surgery...

So I am going to put out a request that anyone willing to be an Angel pipe up here, and anyone looking for an Angel do the same. Once you've connected with someone then please PM me or post back here so I can update the Surgery List.

We have had so many new surgery dates this year that I've focused more on the Surgery List. Now that I am a bit further along I want to help people connect up with Angels also.

I need an Angel!

My surgery scheduled for April 29th (and I don't see a surgery twin) BUT I am no longer the last one on the list...hurray!

Referred HRRH Apr. 2012, Info. Session: Sept 12/12, Surgeon Consult: Dr L Smith Sept 19/12, RD/SW/RN/ Nov 19/12. Surgery Date: April 29, 2013

NorthernStar had the same Surgeon as you and posted she would like to be an Angel so I am hoping you two connect. The same Surgeon and same surgery thing is kind of a cool bonus.

Jenn as to be at twh during my surgery however after her apts she will come see me and update. So perhaps you could put her down as my angel...

I am happy to be someone elses angel if anyone wants me.
