And the drains are out!!
I feel so good. I feel like I recovered better from this surgery than the WLS. Which shocks me, because everyone said it would be the opposite. When did you see your PS? I got approval four months from when my PS put the request in.
Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
Wonderful! Good time of year to get it - lots of healing time before bikini season. ;)

I actually don't expect to lose much. A friend of mine went to the same surgeon, exact same surgery, and didn't lose at all. I'm still very swollen, and I did get on the scale today (swollen and TOM, with a vengance) and i'm up a pound. So maybe when all is said and done, a few pounds? But it will be at least another 6 weeks before the swelling is gone, maybe more. Today, I don't look pregnant. LOL That's a first. It's fun to watch the belly go down. Like losing weight rapidly all over again!!

Woo-hooo. Was there any drainage at all in the drains before they came out? If not, then definitely fast healing from this point on. I would love to see pictures when you're healed, for different reasons than others who shall remain nameless.
LOL. I will PM pics when i'm properly healed. Probably in a month. I'm still hugely swollen. It's interesting the way it looks in the morning, compared to night time.
There was about 20 cc of fluid in each drain (in a 24 hour period) when they took them out. Which is a good number. The magic number is 30 or less. So yep, healing nicely says the doc.
