And the drains are out!!

I just got back from having my drains removed from my panni surgery. Covered by OHIP, with Dr. Musgrave at St. Mike's. she is amazing! (I just pisted that info in another post, but i jut had to say it again). She just told me that she did do muscle repair to my abs, that I didn't know I was getting. I asked why people get a fleur de lis upgrade, if she does muscle repair. She told me that it all has to do with the amount of skin they would be able to pull down from the upper area. If there is more skin on top, it's harder to get a flatter tummy and have to pull in as well, hence the anchor cut.

I took a good look at my new self, and even with the swelling and bruising, it's amazing to see the panni gone!! So bizarre! I just might put on a bikini after all this summer

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
