Sounds like you are doing great. Your soup sounds awesome. Don't worry about calories at this stage.

Thanks!  I feel like things are going pretty good.  I am looking forward to getting some meat and eggs into my plan tomorrow!  The soup is a recipe from the Bariatric clinic's book (Sue Eskeri??spelling).  It is pretty tasty.

Well I failed miserably yesterday. I only got in 441 calories. So new day here I go.

B - 1 piece Rye toast with .5 tbsp light cream cheese and .5 tsp blue menu jam.

S - 1 egg and 0% yogurt

L- montreal smoked meat swiss cheese roll up

S - Apple w/ .5 tbsp PB

D - 3 oz tilapia and spinach salad w/ tsp of low fat dressing

I am 8 months out, and if anyone has any suggestions or would make any changes to what I am eating I am all ears.

I LOVEEE this thread! You guys will never know how helpful it is. There are some things I want to try now, but I am waiting.

It's great to see how many of you are eating edamame beans. I buy them from Costco in the pod, nuke em, shake with salt and pepper and it's so much like popcorn, only better. It's my evening snack if I want one.

Thanks again for all your creative ideas!

Good luck on your surgery Karen!
