3 am and I can't sleep!! Grr. Busy day ahead, so I thought I'd post with the hope it will make me sleepy. Interesting that I can't sleep on an off-workout day. Hmm

21 months post -rny

Spinning and a 10 minute run today.

B: protein coffee and oatmeal of some sort. I've been having hungry days, and my normal slider food isn't cutting it. I'm trying dense foods today.

S: apple and cheese

L: roast beef and veggies

S: soy beans

D: unsure yet.

2 weeks and 1 day... and I can't sleep either... *edited cause I realized I typoed*

B: 1/4 cup oatmeal made with 1/2 cup water. Topped with 1/2 cup of skim milk and topped with beneprotein. Dash of salt when cooking it... Total: Calories: 123, Fat: 1.1g, Carbs: 15.7g, Sugar: 6.2g, Protein: 12.5g

S: 1/2 cup Oikos 0% with 1/8 cup blueberries... Total: Calories: 78, Fat: 0.1g, Carbs: 8.7g, Sugar: 4.5g, Protein: 11.1g

L: 3 1/2 melba rounds (can't seem to do the serving of 7 at this point and have no interest), 2 oz white albacore tuna, 1/2 tablespoon of Hellmans olive oil mayo, Total: Calories: 135, Fat: 4.5g, Carbs: 9.3g, Sugar: 0.5g, Protein: 15g

S: 1/4 cup 1% cottage cheese Total: Calories: 41, Fat: 0.6g, Carbs: 1.5g, Sugar: 1.5g, Protein: 7g

D: 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of skim milk, 1 teaspoon of becel... I am having "fluffy eggs" a.k.a. "custard eggs" because I want breakfast for dinner. You heat the milk, and becel, add the eggs and whisk constantly. I figure if eggs will work for me this will be how it will work. I'm also a bit odd... I am a Salsa with my eggs girl so Great Value's Mild is the one of choice as it has good numbers (1 table spoon is Calories: 13, Fat: 0g, Carbs: 3g, Sugar: 1g, Protein: 0.5g)... Total: Calories: 230, Fat: 12.1g, Carbs: 9.1g, Sugar: 7.2g, Protein: 16.6g

S: ? Suppose to have one but not really sure here as it depends if I am hungry.

Thank you!

I started realizing I really should share so others have ideas... If I preplan it completely I will try to do it when i put it down. If I have a take it as I go day (which I do on days nothing is appealing but I evaluate and track as my day goes) then I will try to post at end of day.

*fingers crossed that I can keep this up*

Morning Kelly, hope you got to sleep!

I broke 270 today - I'm 269 lbs.  Pretty excited about that!  So that's 67 lbs so far...

This morning I'm sipping on a glass of milk because I forgot to put more protein shakes in the fridge.  But I have a cold one in the fridge at work, so I'll just drink that one sometime during the day today, maybe for lunch.

I'm up on time, so even though it's really cold here (for Toronto - I know, to you northerners we're wimps), I'm going to make sure I walk the last 20 minutes to work, and I'll try to do the same in the evening.

TODAY'S FOOD - 2.5 MONTHS POST-RNY

B - Glass of skim milk, then Pure Protein bar on way to work

S - Shah's dried chick peas (1 oz), 1/2 cup grapes

L - Premier Protein shake

S - 1 light babybel, 7 soda crackers

D - Roasted chicken from the supermarket (kitchen is all packed up now!)

TOTALS: 97g protein, 20g fat, 79 carbs (70 net carbs), 876 calories
