Menu planning for this week
I was hoping we could share ideas

Tues- will be out- crab cakes and salad
Wed- chicken, salad,
Thursday- chili casserole
Friday- chicken burger guts, salad(out)
Saturday- finger foods( leftover from holiday)- mostly protein

It's going to be a bit of a struggle as my son is in a treatment centre in Toronto right now to help with his special needs and we visit three times a week which leaves us with restaurant food for those three days . I will try my best to choose wisely-
What's on your menu this week?

Hope you do okay. and you son does well in his treatments
I don't plan for a week....it's hard enough planning for a day LOL
Do you read the What are you Eating/Doing today posts? It's great to see what everyone else eats.
Wishing your son well with his treatments!!

Like Kelly said the what are you eating post gives some ideas. I wish you and your son well in Toronto! I have noticed a bunch of newish fast food kiosks in malls like The Eaton's Ctr that have charcoal grills, so will grill you a piece of meat and add a cut up tomato or another quick side veggie/salad for a decent meal (its sometimes not on their menu but can do it easily).
I made a low fat meatloaf last night and that will do us until Tuesday night with leftovers. I make fries, potato and sweet potato in my T Fal actifry cooker, only uses a tablespoon or two of olive oil per batch.
Blue label PC stuff, frozen and canned has several choices where the protein count is as high or higher than the carbs which is my measuring stick I use to buy quick foods (most blue label/WW things are low in fat, though some have huge sodium counts). Lots of soups fall into this area. M&M meats have a bunch of soups and chicken dishes which meet my criteria. Again they aren't for every day but good in a pinch.
