Thought i'd start this one before I head out to work. Let's see if any dupes show up as i'm typing lol

Today everyone is back to the normal schedule. Yay.

Went to rehearsal last night. Kids had a blast. Should be a fun show.

21 months post-RNY

Spinning and a little run for me today

B: protein coffee, goat and iogo yogurt with Fibre One cereal

S: 1/2 banana and peanut butter

l: leftover pork tenderloin and bok choy

S: other half of banana and peanut butter

D: unsure thus far.

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Morning;

Late start this morning....not feeling great....

 

Eats for Losing:

 

B - 2 large mugs of regular coffee

     Premier protein shake

 

L - 4 oz tex mex chicken

     45 grams of habanero shredded cheese on top

 

D - 5 inch slice of Shepherds Pie

 

FITDAY totals for the above are:  Calories - 1,053,  Fat - 47 grams,  Carbs - 44 grams,  Protein - 109 grams

 

Percentages = Fat - 40%,  Carbs - 17%,  Protein - 43%

Back to school for the kids.  WIll be just me and the 2 year old *sigh*  I will miss the big kids !

S - Homemade oatmeal protein peanut butter cookie

L - Homemade Chicken Veggie Soup with 4 whole wheat crackers

S - Homemade pumpkin spice latte

D - 3 oz chicken and some veggies

S - greek yogurt and homemade granola

Morning Kelly!

I really have to get back on track when it comes to planning and posting my food.  I'm eating way too little lately, and that's because I'm not preparing.  And although I lost 4 lbs this week, I find that when I eat over 800 calories per day, I lose more weight because I have more energy to walk.

So, new week, new resolution to get up early enough to eat well!

 

2 MONTHS POST-RNY:

B - Glass of milk before leaving for work, then 1/2 egg and cheese wrap, 1/4 apple, few slices of red pepper

L - Other 1/2 Egg and cheese wrap, 1/4 apple, few slices of red pepper

S - 1 oz Dubliner Irish cheese, 6 wheat thins, a few slices of red or yellow pepper

D - 1/2 Leftover refried bean and cheese taco with some leftover turkey

S - 1 protein shake

TOTALS: 71g protein, 37g fat, 72 carbs (62 net carbs), 837 calories

Good for you!! It's such a mind-f&*k to have to add calories to lose weight. Our poor bodies have been so confused. Good luck!!

Good morning everyone!

The drive into work was a bit longer today - looks like everyone's back to the regular routine....

RNY, 11.5 Weeks Post-Op

My big goal for this week is to be diligent about getting more water into me!  I feel like I'm drinking less than I should (and Mermaidz's recent post about pee colour has made me realize that I am slightly dehydrated).  I'll also get to the track today for my 45 minute walk.

Here's my eating plan for today:

B - 1/4 cup greek yogurt, 1/4 cup blueberries, 1/8 cup All Bran Buds, 1 tbsp. protein powder, SF peach syrup.

S - 1/4 cup applesauce, Babybell gouda cheese

L - 2.5 ounces turkey meatloaf (yummy leftovers from last night's dinner).  Cucumbers with balsamic vinegar, 3 pieces whole wheat melba toast.

S - Premier protein shake on the way to the track, 1 tbsp. peanut butter after the track.

D - 1/4 cup chili, 1 tbsp. protein powder, 1 tbsp. sour cream. 

S - 1/4 cup cottage cheese, 1 tbsp. protein powder, 1 packet splenda, cinnamon.  Maybe a small fruit plate later when I go out for dessert/coffee with some friends (1/2 cup fruit total).

Totals - 958 calories, 69g carbs, 27g fat, 118g protein
