What Are you eating/Doing today? (New Year's Day)
Good morning. Today my baby girl turns 10!! Not sure how that happened!
Off for a run, and then will be making cupcakes at her dad's house. LOL Separation is very weird at times.
B: Just ate a banana and peanut butter, then run. Will have protein coffee when I return
L: leftover lamb from two days ago when we went out for dinner, and veggies
S: cheese and crackers
D: most likely the leftover beef from last night's yummy dinner!

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

This is the first time I am posting in hopes of getting into a new healthy accountability habit, especially since it is the first day of the New Year.
B : 2 large coffees, 1 egg and 1 slice of bacon
S: after my 5k walk, 1 large decaf coffee and 1/2 apple with NSA peanut butter
L: 1/4c tuna with low fat mayo and 2 rice crackers
S: other 1/2 apple with NSA peanut butter
D: spaghetti sauce and tomato/cucumber salad

Happy New Year Everyone!
I am currently sitting here sipping my Premier Protein Shake in a peaceful house! Both of my kisd who never ever sleep past 7 am are still soundly sleeping upstairs and it's almost 9:30! What a miracle! I actually have to go into work today....just for 6 hours but still! I am meeting my favourite co-worker for tea at Second Cup shortly and will then pop into work, do the things I need to do and be on my way home again.
Today is my day of rest from exercise and I actually feel antsy just thinking about it! LOL I kind of enjoy my walks, swims, and runs all by myself! Gives me some time to clear my mind!
B - Premier Chocolate Protein Shake
L - 1/4 Cup of Organic Girl Super Greens, 2 ounces of chicken breast, 1 TBS of Pc soft unripened goat cheese
S - Boiled Egg
D - 2 ounces of ground turkey, 1/4 cup of organic girl super greens, 15 grams of tex mex salsa with salsa
S - Premier Protein Shake
Basically I take a 1/4 cup of milk, microwave it for 20 seconds. Then add a scoop of LeanFit Whey vanilla protein powder to it, and stir it with a for****il it makes a pancake batter. I let it sit for a few minutes, then pour it into my Contingo travel mug (even if i'm at home, I use the traveler because it keeps it hot). Then i slowly add the coffee, while stirring. It's sweet like a vanilla latte. Sometimes I add flavouring too. A great way to start my day with 25 grams of protein.

Got up late today so did not go with my husband for a walk with the dog. Must do something later to get moving. Hope every one had a good New Years Eve.
