What are you eating/doing today?

Good morning. I'm exhausted from the holidays, and we still have New Year's and my daughter and Ross' daughter's joint sleepover birthday party on Friday. The fun never stops lol!

I have to work today....boo. Would rather be in bed right now. Oh well.

Hopefully a spin class today, but we are on a skeleton staff schedule, so not sure if I can step out for that or not.

B: protein coffee.

S: yogurt with flax

And once again, the rest is unknown. Not even sure of our plans tonight, as we have had sick kids here and there. Just might be quiet at our place.

Enjoy your New Year's Eve everyone!

Good morning, everyone!

Kelly, I hear you re: the holidays - they've been fun, but not very relaxing!

We're going to a friends' place for a New Year's party with the kids, so dinner is up in the air.  I'll make sure to eat something before I leave and also bring a protein bar, in case there aren't any great options for me.

Here's the rest of the plan for today:

B - 1/4 cup greek yogurt, 1/4 cup raspberries, 1/8 cup All Bran buds, 1 tbsp. protein powder.

S - 1/2 protein bar

L - 1/4 cup chili, 1 tbsp. protein powder, 1 tbsp. sour cream

S - 1 portion pack gouda cheese, 1 premier protein drink later on

D - Before party, 1/4 cup cottage cheese, 1 pack splenda, 1 tbsp. protein powder, cinnamon

Totals ex. party - 746 calories, 48g carbs, 16g fat, 107g protein

I also plan to hit the track this morning for 45 minutes.

I hope everyone has fun ringing in the New Year tonight!

I usually end up eating too much cheese at these parties, which is usually my only protein choice lol.

So true - that's what I'm hoping to avoid by bringing a protein bar!  They might be ordering in Thai or Indian Food, so hopefully there is some chicken I can have in there that isn't too saucy!

That's always a drag when that happens - the one time I had the foamies, it pretty much ruined the whole night, even when they were over!  I hope you enjoy tonight more, even if you don't make it until midnight. :)
