I had my "." when I had my gall bladder taken out (6 years ago). I asked the nurse I could leave my panties on with a pad. She said yes but couldn't guarantee that they wouldn't get stained (with the red stuff).
I was home the same day so it didn't matter much. I threw them out.
ok... So I need to ask. Am I the only nut that actually liked the mesh panties? I mean... I coveted and snagged extras after I had my daughter because it felt like I was wearing NOTHING...

Those and... If you tend to have heavy flow try to get a couple blue and white pad things too... cause you can one of put those in the panties first, then the pad only where you need it (though theirs are the size of football fields)... You just fold the blue and white pad so it is just the white part touching you... most of the nurses would know how to do that probably.
They were just fine with me! Underwear would have been really uncomfortable right after surgery!
