A personal question for you ladies out there...

So, this is one of those questions I didn't know who to ask so I will do it here...

What are you supposed to do if you have your surgery on the same time you get your period?

I think trying to use tampons might be a bit tricky with stitched in the stomach.... and if we are supposed to be naked during surgery then pads are out of the question... what's left?

Seems it can get pretty messy.... any thoughts?

If it happens they give you lovely mesh panties at the hospital and you use pads.

I am glad you asked that question, because I also have a funny feeling that it will be that time for me as well. Mine comes when it feels like it, can't be tracked.

Cheers to the new you                   heartJulie

Last time I had surgery I was on my period and I let the nurse know when she gave me my gown and she provided me with the mesh panties and a pad.

When I came to. I was not messy at all. Do not be embarrassed to tell the nurse, they will prepare you correctly.

no tampons, that's too risky, i f you're not able to remove it, and the nurses don't know its in there.

They'll give you lovely mesh panties and a wonderful pad. It's gorgeous.

The more I think about it the more the requirement not to have any underwear on seems silly...

Why is it that there is a no underwear requirement anyway?

Do they need access to defibrillate my VJJ in case of emergency?
