My husband and I went biking today. It was funny because I was thinking about the whole mind over matter thing while I was biking. I have fibromyalgia and osteo arthritis in most of my joints. Exercising before was so hard. I did some but not nearly enough. I let the pain rule me and stopped moving. When  you do not move you start to be unable to move. The greatest thing that has come from this surgery is my ability to get up and go. To bike and walk. To not let the pain rule me. The more I move the more I can do. I still have pain but I know if I do not let it rule me but get up and move it will actually be better. It is the days I do not exercise that I feel stiff and sore. Yeah RNY
