No arms are not covered by OHIP.
OHIP will only possibly cover 2 things.
1) Panniculectomy or the removal of the hanging apron of skin below the belly button if you meet their criteria.
2) Breast reduction if you meet the criteria.

Congrats on your success and happy healing.....I can not wait to be where you are in this process....just losing what I have they are already on the floor poor poor girls! I can not imagine what they will look like after I am done...lol You are an inspiration!

Was your approval process difficult? I know PANNI SURGERY can be covered but what about the more invasive body lift? I already have so much access skin on my back I am not sure which will be worse my apron or back aprons...

Lower body lift is not covered by OHIP the cost is in the $12K range.

thank you to everyone....i am doped up on oxycodone...lol.....it is picking n pulling...cant move much at all...pretty painful....i think i am doing too much. i need to hire someone to look after me n my kitties....take care all :) xoxo

Your surgeon should have set up a nurse to come and see you once you are home from surgery. Has this happened?

they were rushing me out right after surgery of the hospital. very hard to even get a cup of water.sent me home not even 3 hours later still half out of it. i asked to stay,they said no and there wasn't even one bed available. no phone call from anyone .no nurse. nothing. have bruising on both my of my sides/ribs.
