My advice is: Instruct your husband as follows: When you tell him to buy you junk food, he must not buy you junk food but must leave the room and come back in 30 minutes with a flavoured tea, or yummy coffee, or sugar free hot chocolate drink.

And read a book, or post online.

In the end, the only way an alcoholic gets sober is by NOT drinking.
