Ran another 10k yesterday morning....without stopping to walk. That's right. I RAN the whole hour and 10 minutes. Woohoo!

Of course, I can barely move today, but that's besides the point LOL

I use the MapMyRun app, with my iPhone. And during it the music goes low and the nice lady tells me the time of my run, and how far i've gone in my X # of kms. I must have not paid attention the the first one (which is usually at about 10 minutes or so, depending on my pace) and the next thing I know she's saying 18 minutes. Then I realized, "Holy s*&t!! I just ran 18 minutes." I kind of panicked for a second and slowed down and it felt wrong, so I just sped up again without even two steps of walking. It was nice to just be out running and not thinking about when I should stop. I just went. My pace did slow down by a few seconds every time the lady came back on I was going slower lol.

Good for you! I did 9k yesterday, in prep for my first 10k next weekend.
I always run and walk a little here and there. I worry about pushing too hard, cause if it made me too sore, I would be not so quick to go back at it.

10kms is great though!! Be very proud of that!

I also only do 10 and 1s....I am terrified that if I push too hard, I will be out of commission and not be able to run the next day.

I don't want to push too hard, either, my biggest fear is getting injured, because that will REALLY put a damper on things. I have a difficult enough time getting going on the best of days.

I really need a running buddy, i've decided. As much as i enjoy running on my own, i need to be committed to someone. sigh.
