i stopped keeping track of my loss.. i was going bat**** crazy because i was losing so slow... 16 lbs this month turns into 16X4 months out 64 pounds.... it all adds up... just wait for the first stall...

even though i have read about it 100's of times here I jst about died it was the longest 3 weeks of my life i kid you not! I tried so hard not to ***** about it... i knew i was doing everything to the letter so the scale will move again,.and it did

I lose on average 10lbs in a month.. for the first few months it was a little faster but i have slowed a wee bit but the scale is still moving in the right direction.

I went one week not losing anything to 2 pounds in one week. Yes, you can go bat **** as you say. I try not to ***** and stress but it gets the better of me ..... that and the Roll between my breasts and my waist from my PCOS I just want it to go ... I was down but now it's back with vengeance lol

Sometimes you just put one foot in front of the other, even if you don't know where you're going.

Heidi.

I don't own a scale. I never have. I don't need a machine to tell me my blue jeans dont fit my fat ass lol

I saw my doc last week. He asked "How much have you lost" .. told him the same thing.

stall? I just figured out that I'm a bit over 3 weeks out and if I'm on track with everyone else, I should be "stalling". I don't know if I have stalled or not................because I don't own a scale

I feel good. I have energy. The weight is coming off. I get to eat awesome foods that are healthy for my mind and my body. And I hurt from exercising but it's a good hurt-just like you

It's a journey for life... Please Heidi.. throw out the scales. Then you can focus on you.

from one "lightweight" to another

Thanks for the advice ... I never owned a scale either until I did the pre op diet and I wish I never had bought the damn things.

They are right about the scale, it is the enemy!  I stalled at about 5 weeks.  The scale DiD NOT MOVE for 3 LONG weeks!!! I was hovering between 263 and 261.  It did drive me crazy and I drove everyone one on this site crazy too! lol  FINALLY it moved, at frist about a pound a day for 5 days and then it spread out and I am now at 249!  And stuck again....grrrrr....I know throw the scale out....but I can`t....it was a Christmas present to get an accurate reading for this surgery....and unfortuanty too accurate lol!  But it will move again....soon...I hope....lol

I also have a wii that also tells me my weight (wii fit) and I can not wait for the day that I am not considered ``obease`` anymore! I will even settle for ``overweight`` no problem!  Don`t worry it will move just follow the rules and down you will go!  As Ian says, enjoy the ride!!

Melissa!
