Kids say the darndest things!
So I have to admit that the most annoying outcome of this surgery for me is that I am gassy. A lot. I burp all the time, no matter what I eat or drink or if I'm fast or slow. It's become a constant source of humour for my family; with two little boys at home, mommy burping sends them into fits of giggles.
Yesterday my 7-year old had a friend over. I overheard them in the living room after we'd had lunch:
"Your mom burps alot."
"Ya, that's 'cause she had drastic bypass surgery."
"What's that?"
"Well, the doctor did an operation to make her stomach smaller so now she can't eat too much. Like she'll say I pass."
Seriously. I died laughing.

Love it - absolutely hilarious!
