Yesterday's York Region Meeting - Amazing Turnout!

It was a great turnout for yesteday's meeting in Richmond Hill. So nice to put faces to names you see on OH. Lynn and Katherine's cooking class for post-WLS was fabulous. The food was too yummy. I had a bit of a sore tummy from over-indulging!! Oops! Sometimes I have to remember that even though it's WLS friendly, I still need to limit myself!

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

A man who volunteers with our office just gave me copies of the receipes. He drives me a little nuts so he is always trying to find ways to be nice. The brownie receipe looks good. I have to take a treat to a women's group. This would be fun to include. Then tell them how healthy it is.

Ditto! It was great to see all the new faces and some veterens too. The brownie receipe was great! Going to make that one for sure and very soon. Yummy!!!!

The next meeting is going to be great too!!! Make-overs part 2...go Natalie! See you November 18th.

Would it be possible to get more information about York Region meetings. I had my RNY one week ago, am new to this site (well new to everything WLS related...LOL) and just found the Ontario Forum today. I live north of RH, but work there.

It was very inspiring....it felt like guilty pleasures....hard to wrap my head around that it was wls friendly....but then again...I am pre op...got my surgery date today for Jan 14th....woot...woot
