Has anyone else experienced this. I have weighed the same 217lbs since Monday. I am down 4" just on my waist since surgery. I'm just curious if anyone else expereince a stall this soon out? I know people have at 3 weeks.

Thanks Heidi

I think you are doing fine... Put the scale away and weigh in once a week... Remember you had major surgery 16 days ago... Your body is saying WTH???? 16 says 21 days... Meh it's all the same.. Your first stall don't worry do what you need to do... It will move again

Heidi, I think you've hit the famous 3 week stall.  18 days isn't that far off of 21 as was said above me.
I've read so many times on here about it, they should almost forewarn us in the class about it.  It will pass, keep on keepin' on.

I'm backing Dee S. and saying weigh in only once a week.

Some weight loss is dehydration, and as you learn to drink more (my drinking improved after 2 weeks) you re-hydrate. Sometimes it is a certain place in your cycle etc. etc. Constipation makes you retain water (why, I don't know).

I was in a stall last week. It's frustrating. There's nothing you can do (unless constipated) except live right and keep eyes forward.

NOBODY stops losing at 3 weeks for good. It will pass.

I'm 20 days post-op....I think I have stepped on the scale twice in that time.  From what I've read on this forum the 3 week stall is more than common.  Put the scale away and just enjoy the loose clothes!!

Yup. No doubt it's the 3 week stall a few days early. Bet those clothes you bought yesterday will be too big is a couple of weeks.

Totally normal. I went 10 full days without losing a pound right about the 3 week out mark. I know it's frustrating, it seems like you are taking in so little that it's not possible you're not losing weight! Keep at it, it WILL come off. After my little stall, I have been losing weight pretty consistently with the odd week that I post a lower number.

Remember, it's a roller coaster! There are ups and downs
