I have a pain in my lower right abdominal area about "3 from the belly button ( no where near the chest area). It started about an hour ago. I'm going the bathroom fine, drinking lots of fluids. It really hurts if I cough, sneeze, sniff or inhale deeply. I'm 15 days from surgery. has anyone else experienced this. I have no fever or nauseous either. I would call my surgeon but her office is closed tomorrow.

Thanks Heidi

I hope it's that or gas. I looked on here on past posts and people jumped to appendix which I kow it isn't not the right pain and it's not gallbladder not the right area.

I'd call the center.

For me, 3 inches below belly button is where I feel if I'm constipated, but I've had peritonitis and if you jump up and down and it hurts it's peritonitis. (--> ER)

Is it like a huge stitch in your side pain ?  I had something like that for days on my left side.  Walking was painful, breathing was painful.  Then it went away ?  I called my centre and they suggested it was stitches dissolving/letting go.  Must of been as I no longer have it.

If it doesn't go away soon maybe take a trip to the clinic just to inquire.

p.s. A tylenol and laying out flat helped me.  I hope it goes away soon !

 Thanks DNA
After I posted this last night I went for a walk and ir seemed to help. I think it was either a gas bubble moving ot a bowel movement trying to move along because I felt pretty good after the walk. It hurt the most when I set so that's why I decided on the walk.
Was happy to hear your's was nothing serious.
Again thank you so much
Heidi
