One Month Follow Appointment Questions

I'm with TWH and have my one month follow up October 3rd with the NP can you please tell me how long it lasts? Also, on November 2nd I have my one month follow up with the Psych and Dietitian, how long should I expect to be in each? I need to book my flights, I don't want to be stuck in Toronto all day.

At HRRH at my one month the dietician literally just weighed me while the RN asked if I had any problems with my incisions. It took 5 minutes. They took no blood. There was an information class too, which was OK.

Since you have to book a flight, you may want to ask if your primary can do the check up and fax them the information for their files.

Call and ask cause TWH tends to be very busy and you would hate to miss your flight.....Can you ask them to book all 3 on the same date be in toronto for the day and save some cash on a flight or really it would be 2

I don't know how long they are but I would be bugging them to put them all on the same day.

Would asking them to do the Psych and Dietitian over the phone work ? lol I would be balking at that for sure :) I gripe enough about an hour sometimes two hour drive in !

I had my one and three month combined as it was two and a half monthes, the NP, dietician and psych was all in one day. It can be done just may delay you seeing any of them. Regards, Ian

Each appointment took about 1/2 hr. The only one that I found helpful was the dietitian.

My one month follow up at HRRH was in July 2012. They told me their procedure had changed effective July 1st and they were no longer taking blood at the one month meeting. Just an FYI.
