The issues they had with it, was if you had it done a long time ago, and open, which would affect RNY. Now it's laproscopy and not an issue

Osmotic laxatives like MOM do not cause dependence, they are safe to use daily.

After reading about Ursodial on U.S. boards, I asked my surgeon and received a prescription just after surgery. I take it daily to avoid GB issues especially during the fast weight loss phase. I don't know whether you could take it to avoid surgery at this stage but it is worth asking about. I will probably stay on it until I am at goal.

Cheese is constipating. There's almost no water or fiber in it. It's a classic cause of constipation. FYI.

Yep, I know. I haven't had any problems with constipation since a month or so after surgery, and my diet has stayed the same. I used to be lactose intolerant to cheese before surgery and it would do the opposite. I've been off cheese for four days, no change. I think my malabsorption is done and as i've been told by many people, the poop changes at that time. :-)
