Ultrasound results

My doctor called to let me know that she receive my ultrasound results. I have gallbladder sludge andan enlarged liver (which takes time to go down I guess?)going for the GI on September 4th and cat scan on October 5th. Perhaps I'll just have my gall bladder removed?

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Yes get it out!! the best thing I ever did! There is no difference for me without it, I feel the same way as I did before it was out, just no Pain! It is done laprascopicly, (excuse the spelling lol) but you will feel a lot better in less than a week (for me it was 3 days) Very easy surgery (especially compared to RYN!) I would do it again in a heartbeat!

I had mine taken out in 2000. I felt so much better. Exactly one week later I went to a backstreet boys concert danced up a storm with my girls and did not feel any pain at all!

Hey Kelly,
I had my gall bladder removed the old fashioned way in 1978 and it was a big deal back then but I've been told that it's quite manageable now. I don't miss it one bit!
