Onederland, Reached goal !!!!!!
Weighed in this morning at 198 lbs. I went shopping for some jeans and found I now fit into a size 34
I haven't weighed myself in weeks and decided after my shock of fitting in a size 34 to weigh in. There it was 198 lbs. Not bad for 4 months.
My journey has been pretty much event free so far. I started running at 3 weeks. A little soon for most, but I really believe if you feel good about it and get the surgeons go ahead, go for it.
Even when I feel a little tired, I go to the gym and work out. I found sometimes the tiredness is my old fat self trying to pull me down. Afterall I spent many years avoiding exercise.
I eat 6 to 8 times a day and do not skip meals or vitamins. Very important. I found life can get in the way sometimes with my eating routeen, but I carry a small cooler with me everywhere.
Premeir protein shakes from Costco have been a lifesaver. Perfect pick me up for those moments when I feel a lack of energy. I still drink 1 to 2 a day.
But most important I could not have done this alone. You all have been like a safe haven for me, glad to be part of SUCH AN AWESOME FORUM

Congratulations! You have done amazingly.
Isn't exercise a lifesaver? And ya, I get that feeling of just not wanting to get out there either, just like this morning, but I did it anyway. It is so much easier to just get out there when there isn't that extra weight on you.
Keep up the good work. And this forum is fantastic!
