Dr. Musgrave's office called to book me in for an appointment to chat about my panni removal on August 21st! I got the referral early, as OHIP won't approve until you have been at a stable weight (within 10 pounds) one year since weight loss. That puts me as September (took me forever to get the last 10 off). I thought they weren't going to book me in until October, so yay!

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Congratulations on your success. I am finding that since I want to be lower in my weight I will have to wait a long time for plastics. But I guess that will give me a chance to save money for all I want done.

Thanks! I just looked back and got to 141 in October, and now i'm 135 (normal bmi). I have gone up and down between 134 and 139 for months and months, so hopefully they will still approve me. I'm only getting the panni done, i'm okay with everything else. The panni hurts me when I exercise, and the rashes are terrible. I just got a medicated cream yesterday that I hope helps,

congrats. I am sevcen months out and still have to lose 40 lbs. I look forward to finally being able to have the plastics.

So OHIP is covering it? I heard that they would if you had a c-section or had a certain amount of skin hanging over and continual rashes. Am I correct or misinformed? Still have a long way to go before this, but am thinking about it as a goal.
