Your surgeon will be pleased with any loss at all.  8 pounds is nothing to worry about at all!

Don't stress!!! I only lost 14 lbs in 21 days and everyone was happy with that.  You have to consider the big picture...you weight 14 lbs less than you did 2 weeks ago...Keep thinking positive thoughts and good luck!!!!!

Weight off your body isn't the same as weight off the liver. You'll be fine.

Where is your surgery?

I only lost 10 lbs. I was worried it would mean my liver was still too fatty and he couldn't do the surgery but he got it done in 2 hrs when he said it would be a 3 hr surgery. They don't really care as long as you try. Every persons body is diff.

That is exactly what i'm worried about and I also have Dr. Reed so i sure hope my liver is not as fatty as it was and he can do my surgery just as well as yours....may i ask what surgery did you have?

Oh you have dr reed? I'm so happy for you!!!!! He's the best. I feel like everyone says that. But he is!!!! I had RNY done on June 26th. So I'm less than a week post op and feeling great. No pain just getting used to everyone being new. Out of curiousity who's your anestitist? (I think I spelled that wrong) everyone at ggh is fantastic. The nurses are so supportive. You feel like a queen in there :) if you have any other ques let me know. :) Rachel
