 Be careful. My sister was approved after jumping through all the hoops. She has diabetes high blood pressure, with family history of heart disease, roke and had always been a yo yo dieter too. She was so excited and started her optifast too early. She lost enough weight that dropped her below the 35 bmi requirement less than a month before surgery and was denied by her nutritionist. Don't start opti until you have to. Do not drop below 35 bmi. Your comorbidities will not save you.
