My Balloon Has Bee Deflated

Go a voice mail from Dr. Aarts office and they said they made a mistake with my surgery date, rather than going Juily 18th it's not until August 29th. I went from panic mode trying to get everything done and preped (which I did get all done) to OMG it's 2 months away like I had thought it would be. Kind of experiencing a mixed memotion right now... ticked that it isn't in 20+ days but a little relieved that it's 2 months away like I had thought going into my surgeeon appointment. I really think the date was changed because they couldn't reach Dr. Cyriac's office because he has to go my scope. reason I say this is because whe Dr Aarts had the sheet of paper for dates there was only 4 other people marked down on it.  Off I go to change things on my timeline. GGrrrrrr

You at least are seeing this positively. Your time is coming no matter what and that is the point.
The summer will fly by.
Congratulations

Disappointing, yes, but the extra wait isn't that long,  It'll be here before you know it.

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora.  Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.

Oh Heidi, you must be so disappointed. Well, just think that you will have another 4 weeks of summer to enjoy before your surgery. it will go by quickly. It was meant to be, I guess. Carol

RNY on 08/20/12

Just think the heat of summer will be winding down and you have that extra time to prepare and just think you probably can get into the hotel you wanted rather than settling .....you have waited this long 4 extra weeks will fly by.  AND the hubby won't have to work 24/7 either.

it's not gone, just moved, really disappointing, but this way you'll be more prepared.
