Now that the nice weather is here, I've pulled out my summer sandals - the 'dressy' ones with the 2 1/2" wedge heel. Although I love wearing these and feeling oh-so feminine, I've always ended up with very sore feet by the end of the day. Lately, I've worn them at least twice to work, and it was only yesterday that I realized ... my feet didn't hurt!

It's so nice to be able to enjoy simple things like this ... things that slender people take for granted. It's our turn now!!

Nothing like pain-free feet in sexy sandals!

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora. Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.
