OH EMM GEE I MET DR.REED TODAY!!!!!!
Hello everyone i am sitting here trying to type all my thoughts from this mornings appt. with Dr. Reed
and i am so overwhelmed. First i must say that he is a wonderful man and he suggested that i may end up with the DS. Now i have researched all three surgeries however most of my knowledge is based on RNY and VSG i know i will start with the VSG on July 9th @ 8:00 am woohoo but he suggested that because i have a colostomy currently that once i drop my weight to around the 200 pound mark that between the 2 of us if we don't feel comfortable with the way things are moving along than he would be willing to reverse my colostomy and perform the second step of the DS. Now that shocked me as i was never considering the DS ever but i trust DR.Reed with my life and if he thinks it's best for me at the time then i'll go with the flow.
Now for the Opti fast....well i got my 2 weeks of vanilla today and i just had to try one hehehe and OMG I LOVE IT!!! now i know i'm a little bit of a freak but it really isn't gonna be that difficult for me.
I know i can do this because it's been a looooooong 2years.
