9 month update: before and after
Good morning!
I have been wanting to add some photos for awhile now and have managed to upload some to my albums in my OH profile. I still can't figure out to attach them to the this post. Please go check them out.
I started this journey weighing 241 at 5'4". My surgery was on May 4, 2011. I reached my goal of 150 but have surpassed it now weighing 147. My weight has flucuated 1 or 2lbs the last month. So this may be where my body is comfortable. I'm happy with that.
I exercise faithfully, personel training 2x weekl and run 3/4x weekly. I certainly can eat more but still track what I eat. I do allow myself treats and do have the odd glass of wine. I beleive everything in moderation. I have discovered that I am not a dumper and must always be careful with my choices.
I am forever grateful for the opportunity OHIP has given me to have this surgery. I am healthy and happy and that is what matters in life. My family and friends are my biggest supporters and continue to cheer me on.
I wish all you newbies to press on and don't give up because it will happen and you will be successful!!
Off for a run!
