So sad

I found out on a group that I am a member of on Facebook, that one of our support group members, who had JUST been approved for the process, passed a\way due to health issues recently. I had the pleasure of meeting her, both at the meetings, and at a barbecue my fiance and I had attended, where she recognized me from the meetings, and approached me to introduce herself. She was only 48 years old, so sad. She will be missed for sure, RIP Anne! Here is her obit listing if anyone knows who she is and would like to express your condolences on the guestbook.

My angel is WildAngel, and my surgery date was Oct 20, 2009 with Dr Andre Nunn at Barix in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and I haven't felt this good in ages, thank you Dr Nunn for giving me my life back!

So very sad!  I'm curious to know how long she was waiting and if her death was related to her obesity.  I guess I'm thinking that if the wait was the cause that hopefully it would speed up the system and her death woundn't be completely in vain.

I didn't know her, but my thoughts are with her family!

She had a plethora of health related issues and was living in a rest home and on oxygen.   She had a hard time to even get clearances to even start the process--- that in itself took at least a year!!  Long, long wait.

Sadly last meeting she was thrilled cuz she finally got her orientation date.   Her family was going to come down for her orientation next week.

I'm sure part of her issues were weight related .   She'd lost 100 lbs I guess on her own .
