Just flew back home from Toronto where I had my Nut Class at TWH. It went well but I did learn I'm allergic to Optifast. After a couple of sips my throat started to close in, thankgoodness I had allergy medication with me. I spoke with Mary after the class and she said they will find me something else. Did anyone else have this happen? If so what did they do for you?

they'll either give you a strict diet to follow, or another liquid diet. Don't sweat it, they'll do something.

I'm glad you had your Nut Class, I get mine on the 25 eeee so excited.
I'm so glad you found out you had a reaction now rather than after you bought it.

Hi Brenda,
Yes, I already new my next appointments before the Nut Class but they did give everyone who have appointments coming up printouts. So if you don't know of any appointments they will give them to you then. If you don't have your blue hospital card for TWH stop at Admitting and get one you will be needing it. They sent me down to get mine.
I go to TWH Feb 17 for my one on one with Mart (Nutritionalist) and Lynn (SW)
Then on March 19 I do telehealth with Sarah (psych). Hopefully thay will be it.
If you didn't already hand in your 3 day journeral they will ask for it at the Nut Class.

Thank you sweety, I do have my other appointments and I hope they will be all as well. I did had in my 3 day food journal already.

They gave me a hospital card already, but they did it there they didn't have me go to admitance....... am I suppose to do that too?

I finally got in to the post-op nutrition class this Friday. Next is meet the surgeon then surgery. It has been a long road and I can't wait for the final light to turn green!!!! So I will be watching your journey and shadowing it soon!!!
