I'm so happy you called them Heidi! I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed that you get another appointment on Jan. 9. Chin up girl. Every appt you get under your belt is another step closer to the Big One! Can you come to the next support meeting? I can give you a ride there and home. :o)

TWh just called back, no other appointments that day but that is fine. They are working on my next set. I've decided to go down again for the next set to speed things up since Telehealth does take too long. It's nice but the timing has to get better.
I'd love to go to the next meeting and would love for you to pick me up. I will give you money for gas since we live on each side of the city. Is it Jan 17th at 6?

So far so good, I go to my nut class on the 25th and then my final two appointments on Feb 6. Do you think I should call and confirm?

If I were you I would Brenda after all the mix ups with mine.
They just called me with two mor appointments, Feb 17th I have Dietian and SW. Just the Psych to do after that. They are looking at maybe a telehealth appointment but if the wait is too long I will fly in for it as well.

I feel your pain Heidi, the telehealth option sounds so easy and so much cheaper but i opted out of it as well as it does lengthen your waiting time significantly. Now that my surgery is done i am opting for telehealth and was prompted by the dietician when i seen her for my 1 month follow up to do so. She said would probably only need to go back there for the year after appt.

referral sent August 2010 orientation May 25 nurse June 30 social/nut Aug 16

psych/nut aug 23 meet the surgeon sept 9 surgery November 24

Congratualtions on your surgery. Hope all is well with you.
I will do telehealth after the surgery as well. Have you heard anything about doing follow ups in Sudbury? That is one of the questions I'm going to be asking.
