Update on Mom "Maxlake"

Glad you finally heard from them.   Glad they're doing well.  She'll be getting 1:1 care in recovery.  Sleep well tonight.  Diane

I'm guessing your mom is mostly sleeping while in bed - so it doesn't make a lot of difference anyway.  Glad to hear she is doing well!

Glad to hear that her surgery wasn't cancelled.  That would have been a major pain and more expense.

You must be relieved to know she is OK....as others have stated....recovery isn't such a bad place to be....hard on the family as they cant go in to visit....but wonderful for the patient for the attention they receive

For those that state WTF....or shake your head re the no bed....life is imperfect....and health care is not black and white....since they are dealing with people - who have changing cir****tances...beds can free up and suddenly be occupied with very short notice.....

If we wait for things to be perfect....then we would never do anything.....I go by this mantra in business....and for many things in life...

Sometimes you just have to roll with the punches and decide what is important and what really is OK....in my opinion having to stay in recovery for a little longer is no biggie...what is important in the care you receive
