ok well Finally my dad called around 8:45 last night I guess the surgery was bumped in the morning and them didn't end up happeneing until late yesterday afternoon. He said it went very well but there are no beds in the hospital so she is staying in the recovery unit until they find a bed or release her so I can't call her. My dad will be calling this evening to give me another update.

Glad to hear that the surgery went well and that your dad finally called you!

That really sucks about not having a room. Seriously...WTF?! If a hospital is booking surgery and they know the patient will be there a few days....make sure you have rooms for them!

So glad to hear things went well with your mom!!!! I know how concerned you were yesterday. How sad that she's having to recoup in less than ideal conditions. Really makes you shake your head doesn't it? Best thing is to get her back home in her own bed.

Please tell her I'm sending her biggggg huggggggles!!!

So glad you finally heard. Glad she is doing well, at least she has a bed in the recovery room and not outside, it's freezing. lol

At least they didn't canel surgery due to lack of beds. Recovery is a great place to be as a patient, not so as someone at home wanting to call.
