One week out - Update

It's been a little over a week from my surgery.  The first half week was really rough with the staple/suture bleeding; this is what I believe caused the extreme nausea. It was a chore trying to get anything in, even water. I fell off target when it came to how much protein I was supposed to be trying to get in, but tried my best.

On Wednesday, everything cleared up. The nausea, the bleeding, the problems drinking and eating all went away. I suppose it has mostly to do with the cessation of the bleeding and thus no nausea, but it's been quite a dramatic turn. I feel much, much better.

Ketosis has also kicked in. My kid and I have already started noticing some changes. My face looks different, my forearms look "normal", I have loose skin beginning just about everywhere!

I'm good now. Happy. :)

JJ turn your adult content on and it won't block anything out.

Ahhh ok.  That will make it easier.  Thanks for the tip.

NP.  It can be a pain in the butt as it will take one letter from one word and match it up with the next word and block it all out.  It's just under My OH then Message Board.  Right near the bottom under the signature line.

So happy to hear you're feeling better and on your way.  Your excitement is evident in your before/after photos!

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora.  Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.
