Typing this on my unforgiving and fiesty autocorrecting phone, so please forgive any odd use of English.

The hospital is keeping me for an extra day since it seems one of the suture or staple lines is bleeding internally. There was quite a bit of blood yesterday and it threw me for a loop as I wasn't prepared for that. I was actuallyfeeling pretty darned go. od about myself

So they are keeping me for longer beca..use they love me too much.

I've been thinking about pulling a nude superman run in the halls with my hospital gown as my superhero cape. They might let me out sooner if I can pull it off!

Thank you ask for the warm wishes. Hope to new home soon!

Glad your feeling good, hust remember you are in the best place right now & I am sure all the nurses love you.

And in a different ward!

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora.  Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.

You are hillarious. Hope tomorrow things get better. Watch you aren't 'too friendly' or they may never let you go...lol. You may become the midnight act like Letterman or Leno.

Take care. I am sure you are looking forward to getting home and sleeping in your own bed.

Hi Jonathin
Hope you are feeling better soon and your hospital stay won't be too much longer  enjoy

any rest that you can get while you are there LOL

I'd be careful about the superman and his cape, it may throw you for a loop and they may check

you into another floor and never let you leave LOL

Take care and sending warm healing vibes

I had to stay longer too bcs of bleeding, only in my case it was from an incision site.  One minute I was walking the corridor feeling very self satisfied and sassy, and the next there was a little pool of blood on the floor, nurses were congregating and I was scared stiff.  Of course it fixed up fine, but it threw me for a loop.

It's great to get home, but it's even better to have the knowledgible support around when you need it, and not have to work your way back to the hospital if you run into difficulties.  Hang in there, and just wait until they say ..."Come back and see us in 6 months - but we probably won't be able to recognize you!"

Happy Thanksgiving!
