Hi There,

Meet & Greet went really well. About 40-45 people were out. Lots of story sharing, clothes sharing and fun. There was a plastic surgeon who spoke for about an hour prior to dinner, Popeye stores had a couple of really informative reps there with free stuff and there were lots of door prizes. Everyone went home with something. The meal was o.k. Far too much food and a number of items that some of the RNY people had trouble with. All in all, great day, great fun and great people. Hopefully some others will chime in too. The next one is in the planning stages all ready with the home town being Sarnia next year. Many who were there on Saturday plan to attend next year. I will be there!

It was fun meeting people from OH in real life! The Sarnia and Cambridge crews rocked the house - that's for sure! We had some nice visiting time, a WAY TO HUGE diner with some FUNKY food choices (lemon and horseradish pudding squares anyone?? How about pickled pumpkins??), and then a great and inspiring slideshow. Karaoke was had - by some of the bravest ladies only!

Sarnia and Cambridge people headed out to a local bar after and closed the place DOWN! Dancing and impressing the locals, that's for sure! Than late night chatting in the hotel meant VERY little sleep as we got up the next morning for a (relatively) early breakfast!

A great weekend. I can't wait for even more fun and frolicking next year!

We had a CCC camping event this summer that involved some other Ontario ladies. We are discussing a Darien Lake camping trip next summer (you can rent trailers and cottages there, for the non-camping crowd).

Maybe we can make that invite a bigger one so other Ontario peeps could go? Would people be interested?
