 I believe we have a right to know doctor's statistics. This isn't a question of privacy. At least to know how it fits in Dr. Starr's statistics.

You do have a right to know the statistics.  You have a right to know how many people died and how many people had the surgery.  Not who and why and what their complications were.  So in a couple of years when this years statistics are compliled you will see the mortality rate for this year.  It's a sad day but unless someone from her family cares to share, we will probably never know the true cause.
