Thanks Monica.  "I will not pick, I will not pick, I will not pick."

Actually, will there even be anything to pick?  All of the bleeding has completely stopped.  I have instructions to wa**** with soap and warm water 2x a day, and then apply the ointment.  Will it scab over if it has stopped bleeding, or will the bleeding start up again when I exercise or am active?  Also, he told me only loose baggy tops and no straps, not even bra straps.  Wonder what I will do until this thing heals in 10 days?  Anyone know where to buy some tube tops this late in the season?? I only have one.  :D

it won't scab once its stopped bleeding. it'll heal fine, i'm sure. Just keep it clean, and moisturized.

you could probably wear a looser bra strap (?) if you have one, in a couple of days, or a t -back? you know what i mean? check winners, they might have some bandeaus

Brave girl.  Very brave.  I like that it has meaning to you and isn't just a butterfly or something.

Just looking at it makes me start to rethink my desire.  But I've got 2 years, so no rush.

*laughs at "just a butterfly or something"*

You are aware that a butterfly is a traditional symbol of weight loss surgery? Emerging from a cocoon? Letting the beautiful person out that was trapped?

Oh - and this is the one I'm getting. A butterfly.

i have a butterfly on my ankle. the reason i got it is because of a quote that goes, "some people are settling down, some people are settling, and some people refuse to settle for anything less than butterflies." as a bigger person, i found that i was always just settling in life. settling for less, because i felt i didn't deserve more. settling for guys that i didn't really like, just because i felt like i couldn't do any better. i got my tattoo to remind me not to settle for anything less that butterflies, because i don't deserve anything less.

I didn't know that.  I just said 'a butterfly or something' because some people will get something 'cutesy' without having a real meaning behind it.  "Just 'cuz it's pretty."

I do love this design, though.  Unique but still recognizable.
