I get a prescription for tramacet - i find that works the best for them - completely gone

Over the counter stuff you can try are:

-tylenol

-tylenol with back pain (there are generic versions at shoppers a *****eaper, this has a muscle relaxant in it)

-tylenol 1 (ask for this from the pharmacist and go for the generic version as its WAYYYYYYY cheaper)

-whatever you got for surgery (if you have any left.. please don't drive!)

I take Tylenol - doesn't do much, unfortunately.  I read on another board that someone tried taking Robax (back meds) and it really helped - have some at home, going to try tonight.

EDIT:

NEVER MIND!  I just looked it up and it has ibuprofen.  IGNORE.

Karen, there is a version of it with tylenol - Robaxacet

Tylenol back is the same stuff - rebranded with the tylenol name.

I ended up with the life brand version thereof, as I'm a cheapskate.

I just saw that on the site, thanks Debra.  I usually don't have a terrible time with cramps, but for some reason my lower back is killing me this month.

Life brand = happiness

I'm cheap too. lol

I'm sorry you are feeling rough today. Hopefully something helps. When I had major monthly issues in the past, the hospital gave me Tramset and it worked, but you need a prescription.

Good for you for going to work after a month. How are you feeling? Is your job one where you can sit a lot or are you on your feet too?

Hi Amy. I really feel for you. I am having a couple of bad days with cramps too. No fun!!

I take Rexall Extra Strength Multi Sympton PMS Relief. It is a generic Midol. Just make sure it is the acetaminophen based one if you do try it. I find this 'old school' remedy works the best for me. I use to have to get demerol shots and strong muscle relaxants for cramps, but there is something in the 'additional ingredients' that just seems to do the magic for me.

You may want to crush them since you are just over a month out. That is what I did at first and I take two every 5 hours or so for the first couple of days.

Hope you are feeling better soon,

Kristie

I actually went back after two weeks.. but Im the manager at Stinger Tattoo in newmarket... so its pretty laid back.. I had people to help do all the hard stuff so all I had to do was the piercing and the money lol....  I probably couldve used another week to be honest.. but i was going crazy at home!

Thanks for all the tips!

One more question though... do you think Ill still have to crush them or maybe id be able to swallow them by now?
